Many would say no, for the plain reason that they are not naturally produced. But I do not think that it is that simple…Genetically modified foods can be created to help science, medicine, and many other areas. In the area of medicine, engineers can alter foods to help cure a disease, making it a lot easier and less painful for patience than having to take injections or other treatments. If foods are genetically modified, they can also be easily improved. One example is that they can be made to ripen more quickly, or their colour and texture can be changed to make them look more luscious and taste better. We hope that this argument has enlightened you and also given you a better understanding of genetically modified fruits and vegetables. They are not so bad for you after all.
